Fishing:
We are located within sight of the River Spey, that perfect fishing ground offering salmon, native brown trout, grilse and sea trout. Close by is the River Avon (pronounced A'an), which runs into the Spey at Ballindalloch, and also offers a good run of salmon and sea trout.

Sports and Activities:
There are many sports and activities available in the area. Why not try dog-sledding; pony trekking; off road driving; climbing, mountaineering or orienteering; hang gliding; or water sports such as surfing, windsurfing, canoeing and sailing. In winter, we have snow sports including skiing and snowboarding at the Cairngorm Ski Centre and the Lecht 2090. Both centres offer tuition and slopes to suit all levels of expertise.

Walking, Cycling, Nature, Birds and Wildlife:
Cragganmore House is on the route of the Speyside Way, one of the official Long Distance Routes in Scotland. It mainly follows the River Spey, spanning over 60 miles, and is very popular for walking and cycling. We are also very close to both the Glenlivet Estate and the Rothiemurchus Estate, both of which offer beautiful landscapes, unusual wildlife and birds, and an opportunity to enjoy peace and tranquillity. Bird lovers will also be drawn to the RSPB Osprey Centre at nearby Loch Garten. Local guides are available for wildlife watching in the region.
